3 Months

Dear Sweet Girl,
You came into our world like a rocket.  Landed and like an alien attack have taken over our world.  Our lives have seen so many wonderful changes, since you invaded our hearts.  All 3 of us love like we never knew we could.  Your brother's favorite phrases are, "Hey, Sis." and "A Tiss for Sis".  He worries about your cries, tries to force you to play puzzles with him, runs to you in the morning, and loves you to no end.  When you are sleeping he will tell me and Daddy to "shhh!" so we don't wake you.  You are so loved by him.  The only time he does not appreciate you is when he gets hurt and my lap does not have room for the both or you.  He does pretend to saw your arms off with his toy saw, he then rubs your head gives you kisses and says, "Orry, sis, orry."  We think he does this because we think it is so cute when he says "orry".

Your Daddy loves you so.  When he gets home from work he greets you and exclaims, "Hi, Baby Girl.  I love you."  You reward his attention with smiles and squeals.  Daddy also has become much more gentle with you than he is with your brother.  He talks quieter to you, cradles you softer, hugs you more kindly, but loves you just as much.  The other day he was finally successful in get you to fall asleep in his arms.  He came with a look of pride and announced in a whisper, "I did it.  She fell asleep in my arms.  She is so precious."

You spend the majority of your day snuggled in the moby wrap sleeping or just hanging out on my chest.  You love it there.  You have spent mornings at the splash pad, park, story time, stores, play dates, etc., etc., snuggled there.  Unlike your brother you don't have the pleasure of having scheduled naps, and quiet days at home.  You are an accoutrement, accessorizing our lives and traveling wherever our life takes us.  This does not seem to bother you a bit, you are very chill and go with the flow.  You like life best when you are snuggled or swaddled.  You are not a big fan of the swing or car seat.

You love tummy time and are really good at it.  You have your head up watching the world.  You can roll from your tummy to your back.  More often than not you get stuck on your side and freak yourself out.  This entails you crying and your brother announcing, "oh no, oh no, oh no." and rushing to your side and flipping you over.  While on your tummy you are starting to try to scoot.  Your legs are always moving and shaking.

Just this week you have become very verbal.  When people make eye contact with you, you share your life story with them using coos, squeals, smiles, and lots of excitement.  You love to talk.  You are going to be so much fun to share a cup of tea with and hear about your day.

In three months our life has only gotten better and better.  You bring joy to our life and light up our lives.  We are a better family because you are here.  I can't wait to watch you grow into a little girl.  I can't wait to play dress up and tea party and house with you.  Your Daddy and brother will look adorable drinking tea and wearing crowns.  I always wondered how I could love another child as much as I love your brother, you have taught me how.  You are our sweet lamb, quietly and humbling adding love to our life.  I love you so much.

Love,
Momma
