Had Enough

Tonight, I wanted to scream.  One of those nights, where everything in me was just ticked off, immensely.  Poor Main Man got the hit with the eye of the storm.  It came out of no where.  Like a tornado sneaking up on a midwest prairie town.  Swirled , bounced off of everything in it's path, then made sure there was enough destruction left behind, so Main Man would have to sweep up the pieces.  Somedays he puts up with a lot.  Today, every little thing he did ticked me off, immensely.  Just to show you just how petty I can be, here is my night.  It started when I was checking facebook.  This was super important.  Had to be done right that instant.  Someone could post and I could not see it.  Main Man and Little Man are in the kitchen.  Main Man is on the phone with his dad and getting dinner ready.  I hear, "Babe, he needs you now!"  I come running to find Little Man laying on his back on the floor.  Looking content.  Main Man says, "He banged his head he is going to

Travels

We are a traveling family.  Always on the move.  Always off to see someone or something.  To really experience life.  I find this interesting since both my husband and I lived in the same town our entire childhood.  Our first real move was when we left for college (different colleges, totally different hometowns).  Although our families took us on vacations every year as a kid, I don't think they took us on as many trips as we take. Look I actually got to be in a few pics this weekend. Since Little Man has been alive he has been to NC (twice), Missouri (twice), Chicago, Maryland, Kentucky (Louisville and Vanceburg(4 times at least)) Camping in Ohio, Drove through TN, and now Pittsburgh.  Our plans as of today is that in April he will go to Indianpolis, May he will go to Tucson, AZ, June he will go to Montana.  We are a traveling family. This weekend was Pittsburgh.  It was my first time there.  If you have never been there it is truly awe inspiring.  We entered from a tunnel.

Adventures without Daddy

Sometimes Main Man works on the weekend, this means that Little Man and I have hours to entertain our selves while we wai for Main Man to get home.  The nice thing is that on weekends Main Man is home early.  However, this weekend Main Man missed beautiful days.   The weather was perfect.  PURRFECT.  Plus, our Louisville Cardinals won big this weekend.  It was a beautiful weekend.  Little Man and I went out in search of swings and to get in long walk.  Swings were hard to find.  The long walk was not.  First we went to the bike trail in the next town, I thought I remembered swings there.  No cigar.  However, we got in a long walk. See that tree.  A few weeks after Little Man was born, the three of us went for a walk.  My c-section was still healing.  Oh it was such a painful walk.  My goal was to make it to that tree.  I walked what felt like miles, I am sure it was more like a quarter of a mile.  Determined to make it to that tree.  Step after painful step.  Determined to get my pre

Swings

When I was growing up, I lived right across the street from a park.  Every morning I would look out my living room window and literally a child's playground was within walking distance.  The magic my sister and I would create could take us around the world.  The slide would be a rocket that could shoot us to the moon.  The days Mom would send us with a sheet of wax paper to "grease" the slide, boy would we fly.  Faster and faster every trip down.   The bridge was a bridge over a moat leading to a private castle just for me.  The merry go round (yes, when I was little we had a merry go round, I guess this was before the child safety laws) was amazing.  We would run and run and run in the middle until everyone sitting would be fighting to stay on as they fought centrifugal force.  Then we would jump up and ride it out.  Thankfully I don't remember anyone puking.  Although at the speeds we were moving someone should have.  I also don't remember anyone flying off th
